The former This Morning presenter shares three children with her TV producer husband Dan Baldwin
Holly Willoughby returns to our TV screens for the first time since January with her new show alongside Stephen Mulhern. The duo are hosting a reboot of game show You Bet!, starting on Saturday, December 7 on ITV1.
Once on our TV almost every day on hit ITV show This Morning, Holly has taken a step back from the limelight after Gavin Plumb was convicted over a terrifying plan to kidnap and murder the TV star. She quit her role on This Morning in October 2023 and has since only returned to TV to host Dancing on Ice in January.
Holly, 43, has been supported by TV producer husband Dan Baldwin, 49, through her difficult time. Below we look at their marriage of 17 years.
Holly Willoughby’s wedding regret
Holly has revealed how the pair met on the set of children’s TV show Ministry Of Mayhem back in 2004. Holly was a presenter alongside Stephen Mulhern, while Dan was one of the producers on the series.
They married in 2007 and now share three children, Harry, Belle and Chester. Holly previously spoke about a regret from the couple’s wedding day, saying: “I wanted the massive dress and the towering heels,” she said.
“But I regretted it and I ended up walking around barefoot for the whole day. It was fun, but the hem of my dress is ruined now.”

Holly also shared the secret to her successful marriage with husband Dan Baldwin, revealing on This Morning that lust plays a big part. She admitted: “We still fancy the pants off each other. I always say to Dan we’re very lucky – we’ve got each other, family, a lovely home.”
She added: “We’re very honest with each other, we listen to each other. I love him and he loves me. We respect each other and we probably drive each other round the twist. But we give each other space for that as well.”

The TV presenter also revealed an unusual way she keeps things exciting in the bedroom. “I love wearing new shoes during sex – and not just because it’s kinky,” she confessed.
“I’m not a foot fetishist or anything, and I do enjoy saucy games with my hubby, but I have found the best way to break in new shoes is to wear them during sex. It’s become a sort of rule whenever I get a new pair of shoes. I always wear them in the bedroom – during the sex act – before I take them outside. Every girl loves a new pair of six-inch heels and I’m no different.”

In a chat with Fabulous magazine, Holly reflected on the realities of marriage, especially when exhaustion sets in. “Marriage is something we have to work at,” she remarked.
“You’re an idiot if you think you just get married and then you tick along happily ever after for the rest of your life. At the same time it shouldn’t be too difficult, but I do believe tiredness has a lot to answer for.”
