Mary Berry was left utterly speechless when she received a heartfelt message from the Prince of Wales in celebration of her 90th birthday.
The beloved former Great British Bake Off judge was honoured on BBC’s The One Show with hosts Alex Jones and Roman Kemp leading the festivities.
The programme featured a series of surprises for Mary, including appearances and messages from a host of celebrity pals and a Royal.
Dame Joanna Lumley, Paul Hollywood, Andi Oliver, and Don Warrington were among those sending their best wishes. Even Mary’s husband, Paul, chimed in with a touching tribute.

But it was Prince William’s personal message that truly moved her, as she expressed it was an “honour” to receive such words from His Royal Highness, reports Wales Online.
The Prince of Wales conveyed his warm regards: “I want to wish you a very happy 90th birthday. You are a true national treasure and we’ve loved working with you over the years. Have a fantastic day today.”
He humorously added, “I dread to think who’s cooking your cake and the criticism they might get, but good luck and I hope it goes really well.”
Joining Mary live in the studio were familiar faces like Strictly Come Dancing’s Claudia Winkleman, chef Monica Galetti, and TV duo Mel Giedroyc and Sue Perkins.
A musical treat was also in store as Michael Ball and the BBC singers delivered a bespoke performance of one of Mary’s Desert Island picks, cleverly tailored with lyrics all about her.
