Dylan Dreyer Opens Up: “I’m Ready to Date Again” – Her Family, Work Changes, and the Future

Dylan Dreyer, the beloved Today star, recently took some time off from the snowy streets of New York and embraced the sunshine in Miami, where she participated in the 2026 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. It’s her fourth time competing at the event, and this year, she sat down with HELLO! for an exclusive chat about her life, career shifts, and future prospects – including her openness to dating again.

A New Chapter After Separation

In a candid moment, Dylan shared her thoughts on moving forward after announcing her separation from husband Brian Fichera in June 2025. As the conversation turned to the Netflix hit Heated Rivalry, Dylan addressed whether she was ready to open her heart to love again.

“I would say I’m open to it,” she admitted. “It’s been a long time, and right now my focus is on the kids and  family. So, if something happens organically, if it’s easy, I’m open to it… but I’m not actively looking. If the right thing happens, I’m open.”

Life at Today and the Changes Around Her

Dylan also touched on the changes happening at Today, particularly the move of her close friend and co-star, Sheinelle Jones. In January, Sheinelle transitioned from the Third Hour to join Jenna Bush Hager as a permanent co-host for Today with Jenna & Sheinelle.

“We’re in the same building, in the same room. When we see each other, it’s like, ‘I miss you! Come back!’ We’re all so close outside of work, and we have the same inside jokes. I miss having her on the 9am show.”

Despite the transition, Dylan’s bond with Sheinelle remains strong, and they continue to share laughs and memories.

Balancing Career and  Family Life

Away from the studio, Dylan is a dedicated mother to her three young sons, Calvin, Oliver, and Rusty. Despite the chaos that comes with being a working mom, Dylan loves every moment with her kids.

“Everyone’s taken care of, and I get to enjoy myself here. But day to day, it’s busy, and I rest my head on the pillow at night knowing I’ve given it my all,” she shared. “I’m tired, but that’s what having young kids is all about. It’s just a season, and it passes so fast.”

The Glamorous Golf Tournament

Dylan has certainly earned her break, enjoying some time at the luxury Lake Nona Wave Hotel during the golf tournament. Surrounded by celebrity contestants like Joey Graziadei and performances from the Beach Boys, Ella Langley, and Kelly Clarkson, it was a much-needed respite for the busy mom and TV star.
